On your marks, get set, GO!

Just when we were beginning to wonder how long it would take before we really made some strong connections with Thai friends......BOOM! Not just a light drizzle, but a downpour! Not just people that we "happened" to meet, but truly divine appointments.

We are thrilled to have met a couple named "Boonchehng and Raywahdee". They are followers of Jesus who were just as surprised to meet us! Through them we have met others who are desiring friendship and discipleship too. "Yaa" decided this week that she wants to follow Jesus. She has been on a journey towards God for many years already. What a privilege to meet her at this significant time in her life. We are praying that God would pour out His love for her and lift the burdens she has carried for so long.

"Goong" has been a Christian for about a month and a half. We are excited to see her faith grow and to watch her share this new found faith with her 4 sons, her husband, and her extended family as well.

Another friend saw an Easter story on our table and asked if she could read it. She asked, "Is it really true that Jesus was raised from the dead?" Read on, dear friend! "Day" is seeking truth. We believe she is getting closer than she has ever been before.

Join us in praying for these dear friends in their various stages of seeking and discovering truth, freedom, and peace.

Because He is risen indeed,

Picture #1 - Visitors
Our family had the awesome privilege of hosting our dear friends John and Alison Green and their son Connor for the past 2 weeks. It is so special to be able to share our world here with friends from home.
Picture #2 (thanks to John Warkentin who caught the moment) - Our first baptism in the Andaman Sea!
Jason Johnston, one of our kids' teachers for the past six months, felt God calling him to this step of obedience so our team gathered on the beach to worship, pray and CELEBRATE with him!
Picture #3 - Easter Celebration
For the first time ever in Phuket's history, the churches joined together to march the streets of Phuket Town, and then gathered in a local park to pray for the province! Here is Becky with Goong, also a mother of 4!
Picture #4 - How many is too many?
These are some of our new friends Yaa (driving) and Raywadee :)
