Dear praying friend,

Thanks for praying for me as I spoke to the junior high school class at a Buddhist private school in our city. It went very well. God gave a lot of courage and strength. I was able to share some personal things regarding my faith and scriptural truths in response to several questions that the students had. Also after the session was over, God allowed me to have an open discussion with the principle in his office and share about Christ's uniqueness and power. Thanks for praying.

We as MBMS International missionaries who serve in Japan had a great retreat together as gathered for a time of enrichment and fellowship. Jim and Irene London from Ontario shared deep and helpful insights on the topic of intimacy with God. God met with us and also blessed us with great weather and protection. We are grateful to God. Thanks too for sharing financially so that we could enjoy this refreshing and encouraging time together as a Japan team.

On May 6 Mrs. Yaguchi gave birth to a healthy son. Her not-yet-Christian husband is on a business trip to the USA for a month, so was not around for the delivery – a major disappointment for her. But Mrs. Yaguchi has a deep faith and accepted her husband's absence as a challenge from God to trust Him even more fully. God was faithful and is sustaining her. God has blessed her family with a healthy, good looking boy! This family has a special place in our hearts as Leona and Trenton have spent scores of hours with their older two children during the last 3 years. She has been open to being mentored and has really grown in the last year. She is the lady that prays she would become like Leona.

Thanks for your faithfulness in prayer and support. We really appreciate it.
