Dear praying friend,

Enjoyment.  It is such a pleasure to be able to have and use our own church building!  Three months have passed since we started using it and we simply love it.  It is such a blessing and a major miracle that God did.  You had a part in it too! Thanks!

God's Guidance.  Pray for God's clear direction as we discuss and plan how best to use the land and facilities God has given us.  We are serious about seeking God's face and doing His will.  Please pray with us that He will reveal it to us and that our church people will have unity and passion to do His will.

Peter.  The man who has a gambling problem and dodged the bullet when he declared personal bankruptcy, brought us flowers a while back in honour of our new building.  He continues to work part time at two jobs.  He knows he needs help, but is still unwilling to seek it.  Having gained a new lease on life, he seems a little smug or amused that he can get by on his own like this.  Oh, how wrong!  What all has to happen for him to see his dire need for Jesus in his life?

Mrs. Yanagisawa.  She is now in a nursing home-like facility.  She continues to receive "food" through a tube into her stomach.  She can now move her left arm and grips my hand tightly when I visit her.  She also wipes her tears of joy when I come in and greet her.  Her speech is difficult to understand, but her son helps me with that.  He continues to attend our church weekly, but hurries home to prepare lunch for his 97 year old father.  (Yes, he has a wife.)

One Year.  Karis Peters has served with us for one year.  She has done well in fitting in, developing relationships with people and getting involved in our church.  Her ESL classes are enjoyed by all and allowing our church to touch many individuals and families.  Pray for the salvation of these students and those Leona and I teach as well.

MINA 2006.  At the end of June we will return to Canada for our next Ministry In North America.  Join us in praying that God will provide a house to sit or use in NW Calgary, a vehicle, etc. for life and ministry there.
